What We Do

We create tailor made video content. Commercials, film clips, promos, educational videos and branded content are what we do best.

Every video we create is unique and that's the way we think it should be.

Fans star in The Living End’s ‘For Another Day’ clip

When we were asked to make a music video for The Living End’s single ‘For Another Day’ we were well-chuffed and super excited to get started. Jeremy was briefed by John Mullen from the band’s label, Dew Process.

“The band have such a long and rich history now, we felt like we should show that in this clip by using some of the great archival and B-roll footage we have of the band as well as the powerful live footage that’s been captured over the years.” explains John. When Jeremy suggested the idea of incorporating footage sent in by fans we all immediately loved it. The Living End have always had a strong connection with their fans and inviting them to be in a film clip with them is just another example of that.”

With the concept sorted we just needed to work out how to get a bunch of fan videos from their mobile phones and handi-cams into our edit suite. Luckily, Dew Process guru of all things digital and social, Carney Nir was all over it.

“We wanted fans to get really excited about the ‘For Another Day’ clip, so we decided to get them involved in the filmmaking process! Fans were asked to submit TLE-related content to an app on the band’s official Facebook page. The fan with the best piece of footage also won a huge merch pack, whilst all fans with included content received signed albums as well as an official credit on the Youtube video and the band’s website. We gave The Picture Club back-end access to the app in order to download the video files. We had about 100 entries and about half of them made it into the video. The only thing we didn’t account for is the winners of the comp already owning every bit of TLE merch available!”

Did the band like the end result? It would appear so. Their manager, Rae Harvey simply stating, “This clip has been NAILED.”

Don’t mess with Customs. Seriously.

Customs and Border Protection’s Cargo Division get so many requests for tours of their facilities from other government departments that they asked us to create a virtual tour video to ease the strain on their staff. We spent 4 days filming in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne having our minds blown by these guys and girls – they don’t muck around, they’re like CSI but with high-vis vests.

The resulting tour video is so top secret that we can’t even show you a snippet of it. But here’s a photo of us filming a deer head that someone attempted to bring in to the country!

City Holdings helping flood victims

City Holdings helping flood victims

City Holdings are the guys that do the maintenance for Coles shopping centres. When the floods hits South East Queensland in January 2011, City Holdings created a taskforce made up of their tradies and sent them up to Goodna to help rebuild the houses of those most in need. We documented some of this great work with a very real and subtle branded content piece.
